Director Jean-Pierre Jeunet sent me an early Friday morning surprise taking some wonderful (and humorous) selfies with my Alien Newborn sculpt that will be on display starting this October at the Musée Miniature et Cinéma in Lyon, France.

It will be part of a miniature version of the Caro/Jeunet expo that is currently being shown at the Halle Saint Pierre in Paris, France (ending July 30).

JP tells me the miniature expo will have over 150,000 visitors over its 6-month schedule. I’d hope sometime during those 6 months I may be able to make my way over and see it personally.

It’s an honour to have a piece on mine on display in a French museum, the only one in Europe. I don’t think it will fully hit me till I see it on display…
